  • About The Game:

  • Synopsis: The advertisement says ''Super Street Fighter brings you more excitement: more characters, enhanced moves and fighting techniques, more battle locations and advanced battle options to a classic 'beat-up-up' game with a massive following.''

This game is the sequal to the very popular Street Fighter II. Returning characters include the boxing Balrog, the brutal man-beast Blanka, the quick footed Chun Li, the long armed Dhalsim, Japanese sumo wrestler E. Honda, U.S. soldier Guile, martial artists Ken and Ryu, the masked Vega and the Russian muscleman Zangief. New fighters include military bombshell Cammy, hard rock'in Deejay, Feilong and American Indian fighting sensation T. Hawk.

Super Street Fighter II is a head to head fighting game. Three Amiga versions were produced, one for AGA based machines on floppy disks, one for ECS based machines of floppy disks and one for CD32. It generates a NTSC sized screen, so PAL users may wish to reboot in NTSC mode, although it will run in either mode.

I recently came across a free demo of the ECS floppy version of this game, which allows you to play a one player game as Cammy against E. Honda. The screen shot on this page is from that demo version running under AmigaUAE.
